The cloth illustrated here is woven in Selkirk, Scotland, by a family-run business specialising in tartan made on traditional shuttle looms that give a natural edge to the woollen material.

This Lightweight 312 gram (11oz.) cloth is more commonly used to make trousers, ladies skirts and kilted skirts, neck ties and bow ties. Use it in the home for curtains, furniture coverings and bed throws.
It is cheaper to produce in this double width 142cm (56”), so you get more for less money.
