The Wood clan/family tartan
The sett was established after design archives were researched by the respected authority on tartans, Keith Lumsden, and is approved by our Chief.
The cloth illustrated here is woven in Selkirk, Scotland, at a mill specialising in tartan made on traditional shuttle looms that give a natural edge to the woollen material.
The company has earned a reputation for keeping high quality, value and customer care as its main aims.
This Lightweight 312 gram (11oz.) cloth is more commonly used to make trousers, ladies skirts and kilted skirts, neck ties and bow ties. Use it in the home for curtains, furniture coverings and bed throws
Due to the acquisition of the supplying weaving mill by another Scottish company, we are no longer able to offer this product at the very favourable price that we could. The mill is still producing the cloth to the same high standard, but you are advised to acquire it through one of the links in the menu at the top of this page.
